I am searching for any information concerning John G. Boyd.
According to the 1850 census he was living in McNairy Co, TN with his wife Sarah and daughter Sarah.
The 1850 census shows John G. Boyd being 28, from GA, born about 1812.
In the 1860 Census of McNairy Co., TN the following is shown
John G. Boyd 44 b. GA. this would make his birth @ 1816.
He is listed with family
John G. Boyd 44, GA
Sarah A (wife) 28 Her maiden name was Rose.
Sarah J. (dau) 14, TN
James W. (son) 9, TN
Martha (dau) 5, TN She married Charles Augustus DeLoach
Nancy (dau) 3
Matura (dau) 2
The last I know of John G. Boyd and wife Sarah Ann (Rose) Boyd was at the wedding of Martha. She married Charles Augustus DeLoach in 1871 in Corinth, Mississippi.
William Gains Dixon was also present at this wedding. He was a brother in law to Charles A. DeLoach.
This is all I know of my Boyd line and any help appreciated.
