Thanks for all the information. The only other thing I have on my great grandmother is an obituary for Aurora Wimberly Thomas of Cadiz and Owensboro KY. Aurora and her husband Perry Thomas took in children to raise. My great grandmother Parthenia (nickname Pop) and her sisters, Lou and Fannie lived with them as children. Parthenia married King Cunningham. Aurora was King's aunt. Mary Boyd is listed on a later census as living with Parthenia and King Cunningham. I don't know what happened to William Carr Boyd. Lou married Nathan Wallace and Fanny married Bart Cannon. There were three other children Samuel, James and Emma. Emma, the youngest was born 1862.I don't know that you are interest in all this extra info, but someone looking up the Boyd's might be
