I am looking for information on my great grandfather and grandmother, My great grandfather's name was Thomas Lee Boyd from KY, near sommerset possibly, he married my great grandmother Rosa Mae Owens, her mother's name was Centennial Owens, I do not know her maiden name but am being told she is a cherokee princess of the east cherokee nation, am not sure of her husbands name but could possibly be william owens. They are both from KY originally, Thomas and Rosa married and relocated to Decatur Ill., he worked for the RR as a welder I believe. Built a home in Mt. Zion (where they moved to after Decatur) where my grandmother and her numerous siblings were raised, The children of Thomas and Rosa Mae are as follows: Delana, Lee (died at 16yrs old), Esther, Vivian, Phyllis, Wayne, Charlotte, Jack and Evelyn....all the children are now deceased except Charlotte, my grandmother. Thomas Lee from my understanding died suddenly in the Mt Zion home from a heart attack at a fairly young age. If anyone has any background on and beyond my great grandparents it would be greatly appreciated.
