Robert died before 1880, Madison Co., Arkansas, buried at Martin Johnson Cemetery. Robert and Betty's children were: Sally (Sarah) Boyd married Shadrack McCarver, Sr., Isabella Boyd married Nathaniel McCarver, and David Boyd married Emmaline Guthrie.
