Dear John,
I am just starting and am having great difficulty. My father was born in Brooklyn in 1912 but his grandmother was from Troy,NY.His name was Arlington Boyce Coates, and I see you have an Arlington also. His father was William Coates, and mother was May Boyce, daughter of John Boyce and Elizabeth Osborn. Both his parents died early. May had sisters, Grace and Sarah, and 1/2 brother Milton Delmer Fonda. I found a church record from Rensselear, NY that was of an Arlington Boyce, born 1822, died 1896, buried in Woodlawn Rensselear. He was a doctor. His wife was Sarah Ann Boyce. Son Adelmar U. 1851-1959. Do you think my father is related to your relatives? I appreciate any help. Thanks, Ethel
