Boyce in England, Scotland and Ireland.
Posted by: Jimmy Boyce Date: April 14, 1998 at 09:37:48

My Great Grandfather lived in Ireland, moved to Scotland and
settled in Paisley where the family stayed for one generation.
My father James boyce move to England and settled here in
Sheffield. I do not know my Great grandfathers name, where
in Ireland he came from or the date he travelled on suffice
to say that James or Jimmy appear to be a family tradition
as my father insisted on the name for me, was called it himself
and recieved the name from my grandfather, Jimmy. My father
is now dead (he would be 50), unfortunalely, as are his father
and mother leaving me a little bewildered as to how I can
find my ancesterol line- any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jimmy Boyce
