Paul Boyce b.1736

I have a genealogy from History of Waitsfield (VT) of Paul Boyce b.1736 d.1817 m. Hannah Staples.
The ancestry of Paul is supposed to go back to Joseph Boyce b. 1609 in the north of Ireland of Scottish ancestry who came to this country with the British army in 1630. Joseph Boyce settled in Salem, MA in 1638 or 1639 and the family became Quakers about 1665 and remained so for about 200 years.
I have a vague ancestry line showing:
Joseph 1609
Joseph 1630
Johnathan 1651
Johnathan 1672
Johnathan 1693 - this Johnathan is believed to be the father of Paul Boyce

A report from Media Research Bureau of Washington shows that about 1639 a Joseph Boyce or Boyes was living in Salem MA and had sons named Joseph and Benjamin. This Joseph Boyce with 2 sons is probably the Joseph Boyce born 1609.

There is also mention in the report of Paul Boyce whose ancestry was not known that moved from Rhode Island to Richmond, NH about 1772, he had sons named John, Nathan and Jacob. This Paul Boyce is evidently the Paul Boyce born 1736, married to Hannah Staples.

If anyone has any further info please let me know. If anyone needs any info of the descendents of Paul, I would be happy to help.

Susan
