Hello John,

At present, I don't have any more information than I've posted about Sylvester & his brothers (John Jr., Joseph, James & Hiram) but it's certain that they were all born in the late 1700's. Their father (John Boyce) died in 1802.

However, a family connection not impossible. This Boyce family was in NY before moving to Canada. Some of the family may have remained there or descendants could have returned to NY. The common names are interesting. If you would like to share more details about your Boyce's, I'll see if we have any more interesting matches. My research is ongoing!
