Hi, Dale. Here are some things I found regarding Jehoida and Millicent Boice. You may already have this information, but I'll post it anyway:From: Death Notices of Ontario, by William D. Reid, Hunterdon House, Lambertville, NJ, 1980. p. 127: 14 Oct. 1835- On Sept. 15th, Jehoida Boyce, of Elizabethtown, in the 77th year of his age. He came to this country in 1775, and leaves a widow and a large family. (printed in "Christian Guardian") p. 128: 16 Dec. 1835- Jehoida Boyce of Elizabethtown whose death was reported previously in this paper, came to this country in 1784, not 1775 as was then stated. He was one of the first settlers of Elizabethtown, and one of the founders of the Methodist Church in that part of the country. (printed in "Christian Guardian") p. 258: 22 Feb. 1843- On Friday, Nov. 18, 1842, Prudence, wife of Daniel Shipman, of Ramsay. She was born in Elizabethtown, Johnstown Dist., on Nov. 26, 1793. Her parents, Jehoida and Mellicent Boyce, were among the first settlers in Canada subsequent to the Revolution. She removed to Ramsay with her husband and family about 20 years ago. She leaves a husband and 11 children. (I didn't write down where this was printed - possibly "Christian Guardian") I also found a Millicent Boyce listed at the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid site (http://www.islandnet.com/ocfa/search.html) It says she was buried in Lyn Cemetary, Elizabethtown That's all I can find for the moment. I hope you can use this information. Good luck! Michelle Bartels
