In the 1901 census for Dunedin, Nottawasaga Twp., Simcoe Co., Ontario, I found an entry for Wellington E. Boyce who was the adopted son of Donald Blackstock. When I looked up his birth registration, I found his parents names listed as George A. Boyce and Harriett Nichols. He was born in Smith Twp., Ontario on May 9, 1889.

It seems highly probable that Harriett would be an offspring of your Stephen.

There are two family groupings of Boyces listed on the 1901 census for Nottawasga Twp., Ontario. As one of these families lives three houses away from John Blackstock, Donald's brother, I would assume that the Boyces in Nottawasaga are related to your family.
