I am looking for information on a Rachel Boyce/Boice/Boyes possibly born about 1775. She married a James Humiston.Humiston family was mostly from Litchfield, CT. They were possibly living in Tioga Co., NY or nearby around 1800. Also seeking a relative, Philander Boice, he may have been a minister. He married a Mary[Bronson] Humiston who was a widow. This marriage would have taken place about 1868-70. It is my understanding that they went to live in VT. Mary [Bronson] Humiston had been living in Cattaragus Co., NY between 1865-1870. At the moment I do not have much in the way of firm dates.
