I am researching the Boyce side of my father's family. William Charles Douglas Boyce was my gggf and came to Australia as a seaman aboard the "Renown" in 1838. He was born at Topsham, Devonshire on May 18, 1818 and died in Dunwich, Queensland, Australia on June 8, 1909. His parents were Dr. William Boyce (b. 1781) and Laura Campbell Carrington (b. 1787).
Any contacts in the UK would be welcome as I shall be visiting in the autumn or spring and would like to follow up any leads locally.
