My gggrandfather was Daniel BOYCE of Shemoque, NB CAN and word of mouth state that he was very tall. He was m. in Amherst Cumberland CO, NS CAN to Charity FIELD, who was a tiny person-always had breakfast in bed wearing a black lace cap.

My ggrandfather (son of above) was Anthony Field BOYCE, b.16 Nov 1841 Amherst, Cumberland CO NS; d. 21 Dec 1908 Haverhill, Essex, MA; m. 27 Oct 1863 Amherst Shore, Cumberland CO, NS CAN to Sarah Ann EMBREE, b.16 Mar 1845 Warren, Cumberland CO, NS CAN; d. 7 Apr 1923 Haverhill, Essex, MA; d.o.William Baker EMBREE (1799-1870) and Anna BROWNELL (1809-1878). I was lucky enough to find a cousin in Amherst NS this past summer to find the EMBREE family, but I am at a standstill regarding Daniel BOYCE and Charity FIELD. Their names are correct--found in a family Bible. Sarah Ann EMBREE helped raise my father and his two siblings after the death of their mother, Alida Amelia (BOYCE) Merrill in 24 Jun 1907. Any help would be appreciated.
