"The Genealogical Record of One Branch of the Boyce Family in America" by Earnest Boyce has photocopies of entries in "The Sterling Kansas Bible" purchased by Joseph LATTA in 1804 in Charlestown IN.
I think Rachel LATTA is my ggg grandmother's sister and that their parents were Joseph M. LATTA and Mary MCEWEN. Robert BOYCE and Rachel LATTA were married Oct. 11, 1821 in Preble Co. OH. I think they had the following children: Joseph, Mary, David, Andrew, Alexander and Rachel. (Earnest Boyce)
My ggg grandparents, Mary "Polly" LATTA and John ELLIOTT were married in Butler, OH (prob. Butler Co.)either Sep 13, 15, or 18, 1825. They are mentioned in the BOYCE records and in the Bible entries. They had 3 children: Joseph LATTA ELLIOTT, Esther Jane ELLIOTT, and Ebenezer N. ELLIOTT.
