Was wondering if there is any connection in your line of Boyce to the Jones, Price, or Kerlin families originally from PA. Nancy Price (b. 1815) married Thomas Jones (b.1814) in 1841, their son John Perry Jones married Anna Kerlin. They were in Indiana by mid 1850's. They must have left PA several years before coming to Indiana. Their first 9 children were born in OH and the last one in Indiana in 1858. In an old photo album of Anna Kerlin Jones is a picture of a man, and on the bottom is signed "Yours truly, W.D. Boyce". Also know that they must have known people from that area of PA because some of the photos are from Portor Photography and Ward Photo. in Connellsville PA. Some others from that area are Kough Photo. in Mt. Pleasant PA and HJ Springer Photo. in Scottdale, PA. I have been researching these lines and have hit a brick wall with Thomas and Nancy. Have much info on the Kerlins, and anyone down from Thomas and Nancy. John Perry and Anna Kerlin Jones are my husband great grandparents. Their son LeRoy Earl Jones (b. 1893) is his grandfather. Just trying to make a connection and noticed your posting, thought maybe?
