Can you describe the medal? my maternal grandfather was awarded the "China" medal, it seems to be a campaign medal, the front looks more like a ZULU design rather than China, my grandfather was part of a shore party, sent to stop a sniper, if that is the correct term, the sniper was shot dead and turned out to be a female.
