Hey Debbie,
Just a quick note to mention that while at the Birmingham Library I read some inserts about the Walkers and Box's. I believe the book was, The Early Pioneers of Blount county. It was referring to the house they gathered at out at the old homestead out by the Methodist Church. I had a photo copy but I can't find it, I think I mailed it to my Step-Mom. Anyway I thought this might help in your search. I'll let you know if I come up with anything. Bye, Joyce.
