Searching for information on Emeline Box and William Parker married on June 5, 1851. William was killed in the Civil War and his wife rode a horse and came over on a ferry across the Chattahoochee River from Alabama into Georgia to see him before he died. they had 3 sons:

Green Reed married to Mary Frances "Lu" Willis born 1852 in Alabama
