I am searching for the father of Joseph Turner Box born 1817 probably in Alabama. His mother was Elizabeth Box and she is found on Marion County Census Record 1850 to be married to a Jacob Putt. She lived next door to Joseph and his wife Jane.Don't know if she had Joseph before she married or later married Mr. Putt. Would like to know the brothers and sisters of Joseph also. It is believed that Elizabeth Box was a fullblood Indian. Anyone having any information on this family would be appreciated.
