I know this posting is two years old, but thought I would give it a shot anyway. My line may actually tie into this two different ways. My g-grandmother Rebecca Emmaline Lewis, was the sister of Winnie Rebecca Lewis. My g-grandmother also married a Box. His name was Henry Box and he was born 1870-1880 or so. He and my g-grandmother married in Calhoun Co., MS in 1899 and shortly after moved to Karnes Co., Texas. I am trying to find any info. on him. I don't know if this is the same Box line you were searching for.
