Eddie, noticed the name Lindley. This may or may not have anythign to do with research. Just wanted to let you know for later notes. In another posting Ihave a Ford Mathis and Sarah Box. M-about 1790, they had Temperance Mathis that married Hiram M. Claxton 1837, La Grange, Fayette Co., Tn. Hiram born in Hardeman,before a county, or gibson Co.,Hiram and Tempa had James Clinton Claxton, he had James Lindly Claxton who is my great grandfather. Just an observation on the name lindly. Nancy
