I am researching the family of Mary Elizabeth BOX and Aaron GRIFFITTS. Aaron GRIFFITTS b. 1797 in TN may be the son of James GRIFFITTS and Susannah DAVIS, m. 26 Nov. 1795, Greenbrier or Rockingham Co., VA. Family notes indicate that Aaron GRIFFITTS m. Mary Elizabeth BOX, daughter of Dr. John BOX of Ottumwa, IA. Aaron GRIFFITTS and Mary Elizabeth BOX m. bef. 1816 in Knox/Laurel Co., KY or Morgan Co., IL -- Mary Elizabeth BOX may have died in Morgan Co., IL. I have not been able to locate records to confirm this yet. Can you help?
Children of Aaron GRIFFITTS and Mary Elizabeth BOX:
1. Isaac Yokum GRIFFITTS b. 11 Jan. 1832 in MO m. Mary Jane SNIVELY and migrated to Northern California c. 1850.
2. Mary E. GRIFFITTS b. 14 May 1816 d. 20 Nov. 1845 in Hancock Co., IL., m. David BRUNK.
3. Minerva GRIFFITTS d. Moulton, IA m. JACKSON.
Illinois marriage records show that Aaron GRIFFITTS had two other marriages: Aaron GRIFFITTS to Regina/Rezina SADLER 08/28/1834, Morgan Co., IL; Aaron GRIFFITTS to Mary FAIRFIELD 07/18/1845, Hancock Co., IL.

Aaron GRIFFITTS: Claiborne Co., TN> Knox/Laurel Co., KY> Morgan/Hancock Co., IL> El Dorado Co., CA.
