I am truly sorry I have delayed in answering the question about the Box Book. My sister has it, and she uncovered it to give me the name of the author, and title.
"The BOX BOOK WITH McELROY AND FLOYD"
Compiled and Published by Ophelia Richardson Wade in 1975. Mrs. Jeff Wade, Jr.in Bragg City, Missouri. Bragg City is a dot on the map, but I maybe a local library would have a copy of her book. I cannot help you more, as I cannot seem to get the book from my sister to study it. She said, she copied some pages for me, but I haven't found them...Sorry.
