I have 1880 census on CDs and I can see a Mary Stegall (39 TN) living in that county but she is married to Samuel (36 TN). John Stegall(20 MO) is living with them and shown as a nephew. Also a James Huffman, age 4, listed as "Friends Child". I don't know if that is the same family, but place is right.
