I believe the parents of William Ewell BOX to be Marcus L. Box and Mary (or Molly) Beavis (or Reavis). The family listed in the 1880 census index of Barton County, Missouri, consists of: Marcus L. Box, 36, Mary Box, 31, Dottie, 11, Berie, 9, Una, 6, and Ewell, 4. All were born in Missouri.

Wm. Ewell aslo had at least one more sister, Anna Elizabeth b 9 Dec 1888 near Buffalo Township, MO. md Andrew J. Tooke in 1914 in Colorado and a brother, Wilbur b 25 Oct 1886 md Stella Winstead 1 Aug 1909 at Grangeville, Idaho.

Wm. Ewell md 1. Gertrude Larkins (info in other messages) and 2. Rose Wilson b 17 Mar 1895 in Kansas 18 Jun 1913 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Their children were: Marcus D Lafayette b 18 Jun 1914, Mildred Box b Oct 1918 md Steve Bennett 29 Aug 1936 at Telluride, Colorado, Anna Grace b Apr 1920 in Colorado, Edgar, Robert, Eula, Dean.
