Yes, "The Box Book with McElroy & Floyd" by Ophelia Wade is accurate. I was able to get one through the inter-library loan. Mine was marked "Texas State Archives". Also, there is a lot of Box information in "The History of Houston County, TX", which is no longer published. Miss Eliza Bishop is director of history in Crockett, TX, and would probably be glad to copy appropriate Box pages for you. However, that book may be obtained through inter-library loan, too. Some of dates are not right, though, but lots of good Box information.
