Joseph, we've got the right Box family, just a little bit different dates. According to the death certificate and the monument information, Ollie Lee was born 1-
27-70 in Round Rock, Texas. The marriage date I got from the paper was married 2-20-1894 in Waco. He married Eller, which was called Ella and her father was John Elmer Phipps. Also, on the children there is a slight diffence in some of my information but it all came from the Viola Box Roberts who was born June 12, 1912 at Lenora and she was getting on in age when she gave me this information. I have no cencus information.
My husband was S.V. Box, son of Robert Lee Box, which you have as Robbie and his birthdate was June 17, 1902. My husband passed away September 24, 2001 and although I had started earlier trying to find information, I couldn't get pass the Ollie and Eller information. I do have pictures of all of the children of Ollie and Eller and information on some of the grand children and great.
Do you have further information on Andrew and Charlotte. According to Aunt Viola, Charlotte was part Indian (1/4) and they called her Lottie and that she lived to 102 and is buried in DeLeon, Texas. Andrew died of pheumonia and is buried somewhere in East Texas. She also said that her g.grandparents came to the United States from England and that they changed their names. She said they just took part of their name and made it Box. Have you ever heard that story.
I would so appreciate any information you have and hopefully soon I will be able to get to a library at San Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas near where I live. Since S.V.'s death, I just haven't done much work on any of my geneology but do want to work on his family so I can pass this information on down to our children and grandchildren.
