I am searching for information on my gggrandmother, Ida Orlena Box. She married Samuel Callison ca 1834, probably Blount Co., Alabama. They came to Texas in a wagon train with 50 people, arriving January 1835. They had children John Gillespie, James Crockett, Louisa Isabella, and Viney. Orlena died ca 1846-47 in Houston Co., Texas. Her father may have been James Box, and she may have been part Indian. Samuel Callison had light brown hair and blue eyes and theeir children had black hair and black eyes. They were with Rolen Box,etc. party that came to Texas. Have never been able to find any information on her or on Samuel Callison. Any information would be appreciated.
