I am searching for information concerning gr----grandmother of mine who lived in Greenbrier Co(now WV)who moved to Staunton Va and married a Michael Bowyer around 1766. She had a daughter by the name of Frances by her first husband, Nathaniel Carpenter. Michael later took over Kate's inheritance of about 930 acres in White Sulphur Springs (now WV) where the famous Greenbrier Hotel now stands. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
