From Monroe Cty History and Biographies, a George Koontz married a Peggy Keenan in 1799. George Kouns is listed as having died in 1865 in Monroe Cty Deaths. He was 88 years, 4 months, died Aug 12 of ancer. Reported by George Kouns Jr., son. His will is not listed but he is listed in the book as witnessing another will. I would also note that there was a Loudermilk family and a Lowdeback family. Please share any information that you have on the father of Philip Bowyer, married Mary Polly Glenn His father also appears to have been Philip Bowyer. Alexander named his son Philip though his last name changed to Boyer. His mother remarried a Bowden, who was also a neighbor, and they moved to Cabel Cty. Thanks
