Hi harry, See CWGC details at end. As I expected ancestry led back to Leek and the moorlands. At 1901 census Alfred (47) and Hannah (nee WILLETT,45) Bowyer were at Clay House, next to Clay Lake, Endon. Children - Alfred, George, Harry, Charlotte, Evelyn, Joseph, William. Both born in Norton – married 1874 St. Anne’s , Brown Edge. Alfred died 30/4/1922; Hannah on 27/2/1938. In 1871 census Alfred with parents Joseph and Sheba, (nee Sheldon) and 4 other siblings. Parents married at ST.
