William Bowyer and wife Mary lived in Macclesfield, Cheshire. William believed to have been a grocer there. Children were: Mary Brant Bowyer (b: 1816); William Broadhurst Bowyer; William Lakin Bowyer; Caroline Lakin Bowyer; Charles Brant Bowyer; Jane Bowyer; Ann Bowyer.
Family story has William as a distinguished person based on an old photo someone once had.
