Can someone help me locate John Allen HEAD (1820) who married Polly BOWYER (2 Jun 1840- d. Barry Co, MO) as his second wife?

They were married abt 1865. Polly died in Wheaton, Barry Co, MO and is buried at Chitwood Cemetery there.

Children of John Allen HEAD & first wife: Basil, Gracie Ann, James, Richard, & Mary HEAD.

Children of John Allen & Polly BOWYER: Coleman Young (1869 MO) m. Lou Vicie BOWYER, Annie m. ___ PACKWOOD, Josephine "Josie" m. Hyder HOLMAN, Henerson, and John Allen Jr. HEAD (1867 MO)m. Dollie McGILL.

I'd like to identify parents of both Polly & John Allen, but cannot find this family on ANY census! Can you help?? You have my thanks in advance... Sharon
