HI,
My great grandfather,James Bowyer,(father Henry, a Farmer)Married my greatgrandmother,Matilda Dearsley(father James,a Farmer) at St.Martin in the Fields/Westminster/London/England,July,1841.My grandfather,James West Bowyer,was christened at the same church Oct.3,1841.There was another son,David Charles Bowyer,(birthdate unknown) and at least one more son and at least one daughter whose names and birthdates I don't have.James West and David Charles emigrated to the USA about 1873-74 and settled in Bay City,Michigan.James lived there the rest of his life and raised a large family by himself after my grandmother Mary nee Zulch died prematurely.David Charles was there at least 'til 1884 but not much is known of him after that.My father,George West Bowyer,born Sept.9,1886 wrote to a cousin "Nellie Mountain" in Scarborough/Yorkshire during WWII. She is the daughter of my grandfather's sister.I am most
