I have a Pierces Bowyer, b. 15 Aug 1772, d. 1819. Daughter of Engle Bowyer (1736-1814) and Pierces Henton (1743-1779). Pierces Henton was Engle's first wife and one of 6 children they had from 1769-1779): Barbara, Abner, Pierces, Mary, Charlotte, George. This comes from a hand written geneology sheet my grandmother wrote out. She was a descendent of Engles second marriage. This line goes back to Culpeper Co, VA. Does this fit with your info?
