Brenda, Peter William Bowyer (1825 - 1876) was the son of John W. Bowyer (1798 - 1842) and Jemima Miller (1876 - d. after 1860). Jemima Miller was the daughter of Abner Miller (b. before 1755 - d. Aug. 1805) and Sarah Talent (1763 - May 20, 1839). Sarah Talent was the daughter of Thomas and Hannah Tallant of Anson County, N.C.
