Am researching the Bowser name in Stephen Twp., Huron Dist., ON. John Bowser, b. ca. 1825, Eng., m. Feb. 1854 in Stephen Twp., to Mary Sanders. This couple d. in McGillivray Twp., Huron Dist., ON. Have wondered if there was any relationship to Matthew Bowser. John was Church of England. He is listed on land records with a wife Isabelle so I don't know if this was a first or second marriage.
