I have found Cornelius's father Mathew Bowser
b. c 1815 England and mother Catherine b. 1813 in Ireland also 2 possible brothers John b. 1843 and Mathew b.1851 living in Essa Township,Simcoe Co. Ont. in 1871 Some decendents moved to Manatoulin Island.
