Researching the families of BOWRING, originally Chumleigh in Devon then to Exeter. A branch in 1815 goes to Newfoundland and establishes the Company Bowring Brother and C T Bowring of liverpool England. My own line connects to Sir John Bowring, a one time Gov of Hong Kong and later a JP at Exeter, along with his eldest son John, and Lewin another son of Torquay Devon. Any connections sought.
