John Bowering was married to Mary Ann Harris. They were probably born in the U.K. in the 1820's. My great Grandfather, John (jr) was born in Bristol England about 1855. He emigrated to Toronto, Ontario Canada in mid 1870's and married Emma Margaret Jones, born in Surrey, England in 1856.
John (jr) had at least one sister that moved to Ontario, Canada as well, Elizabeth Ann Bowering (Bess)(1856-1940) who married Septimus Robert Campbell.
John (jr) died in 1897 and his wife and children lived with other Bowerings in Toronto after his death. They were Edward, George, and Miss Lillian A. Bowering. I believe that these were siblings of John (jr).
Information on the initial John and Mary Ann Bowering, and their offspring will be appreciated.
