I am searching for information on my Bowring Family.
Charles Bowring married Rachell Watts 1813. Rachel was from the London area.
Charles Bowring and wife Rachell emigrated to Quebec when Sarah Ann was about 9 years old, which would be about 1845. A photograph of Sarah Ann is stamped with Richmond, Quebec, so they must have lived close to there.

In the family bible was a large ribbon with a bit of hair tied to it and the words

Sarah McCartney (Sarah married a McCartney when Wm. Clark died
Grandfather.
At this time is seems like Isic Bowring would possibly be Sarah's grandfather.
One or two of the Bowring boys, George Watts Bowring or John William Bowring, had children: George H. Bowring and Walter Bowring. These two are either brothers or cousins. I do know that they are nephews to Sarah Ann.
*Sarah Ann, married William Clark in 1851 Quebec. A few years later they migrated to the US. William was born in Scotland abt 1823, and immigrated to Quebec with his parents about 1832.
Sarah Bowring and William Clark had 11 children.
