My sister and I are researching our great grandfather Carl Bowman. He was born in Virginia in or around 1884 and died in the 1940's in McDowell Co. West Virginia. He was married a Vicie Mallory, born in 1895 died in 1983. They had five children, all born in W Va. They are Raymond, Albert Douglas ( my grandfather,born 1912 died in 1950's from a gunshot wound), Eunice,Eugene, and Beatrice. Carl's father was born in Kentucky, but we don't know his name or his wife's name. We also know Carl had a sister named Sarah (Sally). We are having no luck finding anything on Carl, cannot find his name in any of the Bowman genealogy sites. My grandfather Albert Douglas married twice. First wife was Faye Roark, 2nd wife was Sarah Billips(ups). Sarah and Albert had 2 sons, and we are also trying to locate them for our elderly mother, they are her half brothers.
