Hello ; Thank you for this information, I am saving it for reference .... I am seeking the parents of ANN BOWMAN, b. abt. 1745-47 , in Phila. area ..... so I can continue with my search-- she marr. GEORGE PAINTER abt. 1768 and they had 1 child ESTHER PAINTER b. 1770. Both GEORGE and ANN appear to have died very young , they were b. 1743 and 1745, and were dead by 1780-83--- it appears that ESTHER must have been raised by her Grandfather SAMUEL PAINTER, of Birmingham Twp., Chester Co. , Penn.... GEORGE PAINTER was b. a Quaker, he must have been dis. for fighting in the Rev., all his family were Friends..... Thanks, Sally
