I don't think so. My Sallie's parents were W.S. Bowlin and Sarah (I think). I know her father was W.S. and I found a W.S. and Sarah in the Weakley County, TN 1850 census. There were 4 girls listed; Sophia age 11, Mary age 9, Julia age 6, and Sarah age 3. One of these girls could have been Sallie since it seems to be a common nickname in our family.
