Robert James Bowlin b. February 1842 Arkansas d.09 March 1904 San Augustine County, Texas m.04 November 1887 to Catherine Johnson Harville (Harvill)

Would be interested in who may be Robert James Bowlin father.
1850 Census Record Shelby, Texas William R Bowlin (b. Tennessee) and has a son RJ Bowlin the age as Robert James Bowlin who was born in Arkansas about the same time.
19 February 1861 enrolled military Pvt Co D Texas Inf Reg, Shellbyvile,Tx.( According to widowers statement on Pension papers)
1900 Census San Augustine, Texas b. abt 1842 Arkansas with Catherine and children
09 March 1904 date of death According to widowers statement on Pension papers. Burried Little Flock Cemetery San Augustine Co, Texas
I have come across a Robert Jefferson Bowlin with same family but date of death being 1927, if I remember correctly.
Since Alice Lera Bowlin is my GGGrandmother and in her bible her fathers name is Robert James Bowlin b.February 1842 Arkansas and the widow Catherine Bowlin on pension papers states her husbands name to be Robert James Bowlin, I think they know what they were talking about.
I believe William R Bowlin at this time to be Robert James Bowlin.
The decendency may have come Ireland as I recall hearing a conversation as a child. Cannot recall how far back tho.
