If you are still working on this line , feel free to contact me. I am a descendant of Logan Allee and Dizania Bowlin and grew up in Cooper County, MO. I always thought that Willoby Bowlin was the father of William Allen Bowlin. Willoby was killed in a farm accident in Moniteau County MO, in 1849 and was around the age of 65 to 70 according to the mortality schedule. Some of William Allen's children were mentioned in his administration record if my memory serves me correct. I have in my notes that William Allen Bowlin m. Elizabeth Medlin in Bedford County, TN ca 1813. They later lived in Marion County, Alabama.
There is a Willoby, John, and Robert Bowlin in Lincoln Co., TN 1820 census; Lincoln, a county that was formed from Bedford County in 1809. These Bowlins could be related to our Bowlins. Thanking you in advance for your reply.
