The children I have listed are:
1. William R. Bowlin (b. 1836)
2. John G. Bowlin (b. 1842)
3. Joshua Bowlin (b. 1843)
4. Uriah Bowlin (b. 1846)
5. Narcissa Bowlin (b. 1848)
6. Julia A. Bowlin (b. 1852)
All of these children except Joshua can be found in the 1860 Federal Census, Six Mile Township, Franklin County, Illinois. James must have been dead by this time as Ruth and the children are listed without him.
