My paternal grandmother was a Bowlin. I have traced her ancestry back to a Delaney Bowlin who was either born in Scotland or Virginia and came to central Missouri in about 1810. His descendants lived throughout Missouri and by 1850 some of them had moved westward into the Kansas Territory. It is possible that your Bowlin born in Colorado in the late 1800's may be a descendant of Delaney Bowlin. If any further info about this would interest you, send me an e-mail.
