The 1870 Federal Census, Six Mile Township, Franklin County, Illinois lists a J.G. Bowlen, age 28 (b. 1842) born in Tennessee; wife Harriet, age 19 (b. 1851) born in Illinois; and children Julia A., age 2 (b. 1868) and Mary, age 4 months (b. Feb 1870). If anyone can help me connect John and Harriet to their respective parents, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
