MY husband's ggrandmother was Minnie Mae Bowlin. She m. Peter Schlenker and they had 10 children. She was half French ,Half Indian. They lived in Il. also
At a family reception for our wedding there
were members of my husband's side called Bolin. or Boling. My husband's paternal grandmother's maiden name, we think was Boling. She was Mary E. Amos b1887 d.1979
This was in Louisville, Ky. My husband's father died when he was small and that wedding reception was the first and last time he had any contact with his paternal ancesters.
Anyone Know of either connection?
